It’s important for Jessica not to get too caught up in how advanced the posture is, or on getting better. She thinks the foundations, like breath work, energy flow and hip openers for pelvic alignment are key to building a long lasting practice. That isn’t to say her classes won’t have a bit of handstand or pincha prep in there, as it’s still fun going upside down.

Jessica Marie found yoga in 2011 and is trained in a range of styles from dynamic vinyasa, ashtanga, hatha, rocket, aerial yoga, and also in slower and softer yin, with experience teaching beginner to advanced students of all ages. She believes in yoga as a practice to clear your mind and nurture the soul. She is patient, supportive and technically focused. Jessica believes that although yoga might start off as a way to build physical strength and flexibility as it did for her, as the journey continues, yoga becomes an essential practice for creating positive, supportive self-care habits, and building a deeper and fuller connection to one’s true self.
