Matt Mulcahy

Matt Mulcahy

Matt is an encouraging, playful and passionate teacher that aims to share yoga in an accessible and friendly way. With a focus on breath awareness and mindful movement, Matt encourages his students to challenge themselves, to find a moment of stillness and leave with a renewed sense of balance, in both body and mind.

Matt first discovered yoga nearly a decade ago to complement other physical activity, but before long the practice evolved into a regular staple in his life.

Having trained in Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga with Sampoorna Yoga, Matt continues to return to his school in India to deepen his practice and assist on training programmes. More recently, he undertook study with Norman Blair in Yin yoga and is currently studying his advanced teaching training with Jason Crandell in London.
Matt is an advocate for the accessibility of yoga as he guides his students through mindfully sequenced classes, focusing on good alignment principles and using the practice to unlock potential, both physically and emotionally. His style of teaching emphasises an awareness of breath, mindful movement and intention, offering the opportunity to awaken and renew both body and mind.
