Maxine approaches her practise and her teaching from a place of healing. She believes that when you approach your practise with love, it will deliver exactly that. Having experienced multiple ‘yoga injuries’, she became very focused on alignment and anatomy for safe practising, emotional and physical healing. She has a deep respect and love for her body, practising and teaching a slower paced, strong and meditative flow. Inspired by Donna Farhi and Meghan Currie and practising mostly with Emma Henry, Nathalie Mukusheva & Harriet Bone in London, expect a steady, breath led flow, focussed within the energetics of the subtle body, with useful alignment cues and strength drills throughout.
