FAQs

Has your studio process changed due to Covid 19?

Yes, we have introduced new processes to keep everyone as safe as possible! For the latest guidelines check out this page here.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in, standard gym gear is fine, have a slightly fitted t shirt as it will end up around your head otherwise! Layers can be useful in case you get hot or cold, you might want to bring a blanket for more restorative classes. A sports bra is also a good idea. Yoga and pilates classes are taken with bare feet.

What should I bring?

Please bring along your own water bottle and consider bringing a sweat towel. Bring your own yoga mat or rent one of ours for £2.50. We have brought back props for those that are comfortable using them, otherwise please bring your own. Our classes will be designed not to need any specific props but they can help with some postures (we love a cork block!)

What if I don’t have my own mat or props?

You can pre-pay for mat rental in advance of your class, it is £2.50 per hire. Blocks, blankets and bolsters are available to use, we advise using a pillow case or towel to cover them as they only get cleaned once a day.

How big are your class sizes?

Our class sizes are generally kept relatively small. Depending on what time of day you come, you may be in a class of just 2 or 3 students, or up to 15 at peak times.

Do I need to be fit, coordinated or flexible?

No! Most of our classes are open level and can accommodate beginners, check out the class description before booking on or ask us. If you haven’t exercised in a long time, or if you have any injuries or illnesses that may impact your ability to participate, check with your doctor before you come along. Please also make sure you let the teacher know if you’re unwell or injured.

What if I’m pregnant or have recently given birth?

Please make sure you let us know if you are pregnant or have given birth in the last six months, and be sure to discuss what exercise is okay for you with your GP. Some exercises may be unsuitable or will need to be modified at different stages of your pregnancy or following birth.

While our teachers can give you some general information and guidance, they are unable to offer medical advice, so please make sure you discuss any exercise routine you’re planning to undertake with your doctor.

Do you offer student discounts/concessions?

Yes we offer 20% off for all concessions, just email us your concession proof to info@lostinyoga.com and we will set you up with your own unique discount code. We believe yoga should be accessible and affordable for everyone so if our prices don’t work for you, get in touch with us directly.

Is there a reception desk?

Yes but due to Covid 19 we are trying to minimise the number of people in the studio. For now our teachers will unlock the studio, show you the ropes and assist with any questions before or after class.

Do you have shower facilities?

No unfortunately not, we have large changing rooms and 2 toilets but no showers.

When should I get there?

We would recommend between 5 and 10 minutes before class starts to get in and settled. Please be aware the studio will only open 10 minutes prior to the class and the doors will lock at the start of class, if you are late you may not be admitted.

Do I need to book ?

Yes please when possible! You can book on via www.lostinyoga.com and TeamUp, our booking software, there is also a TeamUp Members app for ease of use. This way, you know your spot in the class is secure, and it also allows us to let you know if there are any last minute changes or cancellations.

Do you have parking?

There is no parking at the studio but you can park on most of the side streets before 8.30am and after 6.30pm, please check the signs carefully to make sure you are in a suitable area. Morrisons car park also allows up to 2 hours parking for £2, if you spend £5 in store you can claim that money back too. The address is 264 Walworth Rd, Walworth, London SE17 2DL and it is a 5 – 10 minute walk from the studio.

How do I get to the studio?

The studio can easily be reached on foot from public transport. Please visit https://lostinyoga.com/location/ for full details.

Does the timetable change?

Yes, the timetable will change from time to time, we are always trying to optimise our offering to work for the majority of our students. Our most up to date timetable will always be on our website. If you book online you know the class is definitely happening (or you’ll be notified if anything changes).

Do you offer 1-2-1 classes?

Yes we do! We offer private classes via Zoom, in the studio or in a nearby park. We also offer 2:1 and small groups tailored to your needs, email us with your requirements. A private class is £65 per hour, we offer discounts for 5 and 10 class packs.
