Lost in Yoga T’s and C’s
1. General
By practicing at the studio you are assumed to be fit to attend class, you practice at your own risk. If you are not sure, please seek advice from your GP.
Drop-in classes, class packs and memberships are non-refundable.
Single in studio classes are £14, class packs are available at cheaper rates. Please book on to your class in advance to guarantee your space whilst we have reduced class numbers in the studio. Our online prices are cheaper, check out our pricing page for all the options.
You can book classes via www.lostinyoga.com or the TeamUp Members app.
The Intro Offer is non-refundable and non-extendable. It is 14 consecutive days of online classes starting from the day of the first class booked and once started it cannot be interrupted.
2. Activation
All class packs, monthly passes and the Intro Offer activate on the date of the first class booked. Once the first class is booked you cannot book another class on a previous date. You can only book classes on dates that fall after your activation date.
3. Booking and waitlists
We strongly recommend that you book your in studio class in advance as we have a limited number of spaces. If the class is fully booked you can join the waitlist. Please note, you will need to have a valid payment option to join.
If you are on the waitlist and a space opens up (due to a cancellation) and you are next in line, you will receive an auto-email notifying you that you have been added to the class register. This service is fully automated and can reach you at any time.
If you receive the notification email at short notice (less than 1 hour) and cannot attend the class please email us at info@lostinyoga.com to let us know asap.
4. Extension
Class packs can be extended for one further month for an additional charge of £10. Class packs can only be extended once. Another option is to buy a new class pack, we will allow old class credits to be moved onto new class packs for no additional fee, please email us to let us know if you want to do this. Intro Offer and monthly memberships cannot be extended.
5. Cancellation
If you booked a class but can no longer attend, you must cancel the class. The easiest way to cancel is via the app or TeamUp website. You can also cancel via email info@lostinyoga.com but please be aware of our policy below.
Class cancellation policy is 3 hours. If you do not cancel prior to this time, one credit from your class pack, or your drop-in credit will be taken. There is no additional charge.
‘Early cancel’ (more than 3 hours before class) will put the class credit back on your account and you will be able to use it again in the future. If you ‘late cancel’ (i.e. after the 3 hour cancellation period) no credit will be returned to your account.
Credit on account or refund will be provided if the class is cancelled by the studio.
Memberships
There are 3 types of Monthly Direct Debit membership: Low, Medium and Unlimited Monthly.
There is a minimum term of 3 months commitment. You can ‘pause’ your Direct Debit for one month at a time should you need to, but you must notify the studio before the date your next payment is due. The membership can only be ‘paused’ for complete months at a time, not for days or weeks. You can cancel any time after the first 3 months.
Our unlimited yearly memberships are payable upfront and non-refundable. If the studio closes permanently for any reason, you will be entitled to a refund based on the remaining unused period your year-long membership covers.
Due to reduced class sizes currently in the studio, we will have to charge a £10 no show fee if you do not give 3 hours notice to cancel a class, we hope you can understand!
Workshops/Courses
All workshops and courses purchased at the studio or online are non-refundable.
Credit on account at Lost in Yoga can be given if workshop/course is sold out and there is a wait list meaning we can fill your place again.
Credit on account or refund will be provided if the workshop is cancelled by the studio.
If you are going to miss a class we will allow you to make up the class on another course/in another class at our discretion. At least 3 hours minimum notice is required and you must email us info@lostinyoga.com to let us know so that we have it on file. Making up classes must be done within 1 month of the original missed class unless stated otherwise.
Once you have committed to a course or workshop, we recommend that you attend the scheduled number of sessions to get the most out of the programme.
Studio etiquette
1. Timekeeping
You must arrive on time for the session you have booked, the studio is typically open 10 minutes before each class. If there is a class on before yours the door may be locked, if it is not please try to enter the studio as quietly as possible to avoid disturbing students in savasana.
If you have booked a class and do not arrive on time, you risk losing your space to someone on the waitlist, we may give your space to someone on the waitlist if you are not at the studio before the class starts.
The front door will be locked once the class starts. You will not receive a refund.
2. Changing rooms
Please make sure you use the changing rooms and lockers to lock away your valuables. We cannot be responsible for items that go missing.
3. In the practice area
Due to Covid 19 we advise you to bring your own mat and props, you will be able to hire these for an additional fee.
4. Lost & Found
All students are responsible for their own belongings. All items left behind will be stored in ‘Lost & Found’. Please email us info@lostinyoga.com if you think you might have left something at the studio. Items will be kept for one month and anything left unclaimed will be given to local charity shops.
We hope you enjoy our studio!
